Parent Organization: Club Sports
UVM Hoop Dancing provides students with 90 minutes of a full body workout twice a week. Each class is based on getting the body fit, having fun while doing it and improving self confidence. Not only is hoop dancing a fast paced aerobic activity that builds muscle and heightens endurance, it also provides students with a sense of personal achievement. To increase this sense of personal achievement we also encourage performing as well as taking the time to see a live performance. Both activities will help students to better understand and appreciate this up and coming fusion of dance and hoops.

Practices for the Fall 2012 Semester will take place in the Dance Studio (in the Patrick Gym) from 9-10 p.m. on Tuesdays and 2-3:30 on Sunday. We do not hold auditions - all are welcome!
